Excursions made by the Chair of Agricultural Systems Engineering
We want to inform you about upcoming field trips and provide some impressions of past excursions.
Whitsun Excursion 2015 of the Chair of Agricultural Systems Engineering and the Chair of Organic Farming and Cropping Systems
Students of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences visited on the 5-day excursion farms of different orientations in different agro-climatic zones in East Germany. In addition, scientific and application-oriented research institutions, service companies, as well as various cultural attractions along the route were visited. The 2300 km long route led on the Wittenberg, Berlin and Güstrow to the coast of the Baltic Sea and via Eberswalde and the Schorfheide back to Weihenstephan.
Excursion to LVFZ Schwarzenau
The students were visiting the LVFZ Schwarzenau on June 17 2014.
The LVFZ Scharzenau which is an applied research Depatment is the only competent institute in bavaria to host vocational programs as well as further education for farmers and consultants in pig production.
On 28th February 2014 the students of the Department of Agricultural Systems Engineering visited Fendt at its headquarter in Marktoberdorf. In addition to a guided tour through the factory and a detailed product presentation, participants gained, above all, an insight into the activities at AGCO / Fendt.
